The
Symphony League of Fort Worth was organized in 1957 as a volunteer
support group for the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. In the early
years, League members provided office staff help, helped conduct
the season ticket renewal campaign, and sponsored children's concerts
performed by the Orchestra. Current League projects benefiting the Orchestra
are hospitality for Orchestra auditions and rehearsals, the Ballinger/Padgham
Memorial Scholarship Fund providing support for young musicians,
the docent education program for Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra outreach,
and fundraising through the children's concerts raffle, the "Not
Just Your Average" Garage Sale and working at the annual Colonial
Golf Tournament. Categories of membership include: Individual, $40 Couple, $50 VIP, (age 65 and over), $30 per person Patron, $100 (contributes through financial support
only) To become a member of the Symphony League of Fort
